Donation Requests
1. Requests are reviewed on the 30th of each month. Please submit your request at least FOUR weeks prior to the date needed. Please do not call to follow up.
2. Donations from Shapiro’s Delicatessen are limited to one per year, per organization from any Shapiro’s Delicatessen location.
3. We are unable to contribute to individuals or families directly.
4. There are many quality causes and fundraisers. Please understand that due to the large number of requests we receive, we are not able to accommodate every request. Prior donations are not a guarantee of future or repeat donations. Each year will be considered a new evaluation.
Shapiro’s Delicatessen has been serving weekly meals to our neighbors to our south since March 2020 when the pandemic began. Partnering with our friends from Indy’s Old Southside Neighborhood Association, volunteers pick up our meals and deliver them to families living directly south of our Stadium Village/South Meridian location. Every week, we help where we can because it’s the right thing to do.
